- Publish weekly podcast audio files for global outreach.
- The site is built on a customizable Content Management System to enable administrators without programming skills to make changes on demand.
- Search Engine Optimization best practices were employed to increase visibility in natural search results.
- Implemented web analytics to monitor site usage and identify opportunities to improve the content.
Results:
The website has continued to be an extremely valuable part of the overall community outreach. Content has been read and listened to from people at the local level, across the country and across continents. Plus, the email and podcast allow members to keep subscribed/engaged – wherever they may go.
- Evaluated website operating expenses and reduced their costs by 85% within the first 6 months.
- Nearly 32,000 unique visitors from 88 countries during year after redesign.
- Over 1,500 podcast downloads within 6 months.
- Site ranks highly in organic search results for specific keywords.
